Takaab EG-CVX - Expander Module for Takaab EG

The EG-CVX expands on the Takaab EG, adding several extra functions. Most notably it gives attenuated CV inputs to control all parameters of the EG - Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release, Level and overall Time parameter. It also adds switches that allow for selecting Punch mode and toggling between Linear and Exponential envelope responses. The INV output gives an inverted version of the original output, so that the envelope ranges from 0 to -10v. Finally while a gate signal is held high at the Loop input, the envelope will loop even if the EG is set in EG mode. this allows the user to supply two separate gates to the EG - one to fire a single envelope and the other to trigger the loop.

JUMPERS

'CV IN RULES' jumpers allow the user to set the behavior/conditioning of the CV for each parameter as it enters the module. Jumping two pins means any CV will clip at 5v, anything higher will be ignored. Omitting the jumper means the CV will be scaled down to 50% so that the parameter will react to CVs of up to 10v.

CONNECTING

Remove any jumpers from the EG-CVX port of the EG module. Use the supplied 20pin 2.54mm pitch IDC cable to connect the EG-CVX with the Takaab EG ONLY. The cable connects pin 1 to pin 1 and so on, so the red line of the ribbon cable should be at the bottom on both modules, with no twist in the cable. The EG-CVX draws it's power from the EG via the expansion cable.
